Hello World! Welcome to my blog! I'm going to blog about issues that are relevant to you! I attended law school at Fordham Law in NYC and graduated from Capital Law in Columbus, Ohio in 2004. It took me three times and four years to pass the Ohio Bar but in 2008, as a single mother of 5, I finally passed the Bar Exam! I opened Price Legal Services that year to serve the underserved population. The average retainer for an Attorney starts at $2,000, I am able to serve clients for a much lower cost but still provide quality legal representation in the area of Family Law. In addition to practicing law I also a Program Manager at City of Columbus/CelebrateOne. My passion is improving the lives of African American women through education, empowerment and engagement. This blog will be a way for you to ask legal questions and learn about legal topics relevant to the experience of an African American woman. All are welcome!
